The challenge

Rights holders increasingly want to own their digital broadcasting experience rather than hand it to a third-party platform that limits branding, monetisation and fan engagement. That meant building a platform capable of reliable global HD streaming, automatic scaling through peak live-event demand, a consistent viewing experience across every device, and support for a distinct, branded experience, all while staying operationally simple to run day to day.

The solution

transparently.tech designed and delivered the live-streaming infrastructure powering broadcasts across the platform: full HD 1080p delivered globally, adaptive bitrate streaming so viewing quality holds up under varying network conditions, and secure playback with DRM protection. The infrastructure runs on AWS with automatic scaling to absorb peak live-event demand, built for the high availability a live broadcast can’t do without.

The build used an AI-native delivery approach throughout, which is what made the season-long timeline possible: faster delivery cycles, streamlined infrastructure management, and rapid optimisation across streaming workflows, deployment and operational monitoring, without cutting corners on reliability.
